Botox® Cosmetic treatment is a simple, non-surgical procedure that smoothes the deep, persistent lines on your forehead, between your brows or the crinkly lines at the corner of your eyes (otherwise known as crow’s feet) that developed over time. A few tiny injections relax the muscles that cause those lines to form and keeps them relaxed up to four months. Botox® Cosmetic is a natural, purified protein and works by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to the injected muscle. It has been widely tested and is FDA approved. The results are dramatic and apparent within days. The procedure is fast and minimally invasive, with no downtime or recovery.
Restylane®, Juvéderm and Radiesse are safe and natural cosmetic dermal fillers that restore volume and fullness to the skin. Cosmetic fillers correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (otherwise known as smile lines). They are made of natural substances already found in the human body, so they are safe and completely biodegradable. The treatment is a simple convenient procedure and its results are practically instantaneous. It is injected directly into the skin in tiny amounts by an ultra fine needle, resulting in minimal discomfort. Results last twice as long as collagen and studies have shown that the average treatment results last six months or longer.
The effects of Botox® Cosmetic and cosmetic fillers complement one another. A recent study showed that cosmetic fillers, used in combination with Botox®, produce longer-lasting results than Botox® alone.
